Description:

As the Thundercats relax outside the Tower of Omens, Lion-O theorizes that the book is tech rather than magic. He attempts to power it up, is zapped and meets Jaga’s essence residing in the book. Jaga explains that the book is a fusion of magic and technology. To show Lion-O the origins of how the animals arrived on Third Earth, Jaga sends him back in time. In the past, Lion-O’s soul is transported into the life of Leo, his ancestor, to see how events unfolded. He sees that the Cats once served Mumm-Ra and Leo was Commander of the army. As he goes to send animal forces to the planet below to look for the “Warstone”, a riot ensues. Leo’s second officer- unnamed in the episode- takes the two primary instigators into holding where it turns out the instigators, the Lieutenant, and Leo are plotting a rebellion- also, Leo and his second officer are in a relationship. As Mumm-Ra hears that Capt. Tygus has procured the Warstone (the soon to be Eye of Thundera), Leo and his Lieutenant go into the bowels of the ship where mages construct the Sword of Omens with its Gauntlet…
